Bar Refaeli showcases fairytale bridal creations in Madrid

22 MAY 2008

Bar Rafaeli has been mingling with the A list in Cannes this week, but it was back to business for the Israeli model on Wednesday. Floating down the catwalk in a series of gorgeous, princess-style wedding gowns, Leonardo DiCaprio's on/off girlfriend was showcasing the latest bridal wear trends in Madrid.

The Middle Eastern beauty's glowing golden skin and fresh-faced beauty provided the perfect foil for the lush, opulently-cut gowns being presented.

Bar showed off a number of dramatic creations featuring latest wedding gown trends, including voluminous, meringue skirts, shoulder cockades, and bustle-style detailing. She looked particularly stunning in an asymmetrical creation based on a three-tiered, skirt made up of cloud-like billows of heavy silk fabric. A less traditional option also modelled by the catwalk star was a figure-hugging affair in gold-print with a snake-like belt at the waist.
