Kate and her fellow fashionistas enjoy an art-filled night out

30 MAY 2008
Led by ultimate London hipster Kate Moss, the capital's cool crowd gravitated to one of the season's trendiest art events this week. The occasion was the opening of the Chapman brothers' latest exhibition at the edgy White Cube gallery.

The covergirl's friendship with respected artists Jake and Dinos goes back a long time. Four years ago she was a guest at elder sibling Jake's wedding - along with Sadie Frost and Noel Gallagher's ex, Meg Matthews, who was at the Thursday soiree as well.

Kate also used the occasion to catch up with other pals, including celebrity hairdresser James Brown and actress Davinia Taylor.

Fellow guests were Brit art queen Tracey Emin and Oscar-winner Kevin Spacey. And rounding off the celebrity roll call were Elton John's partner David Furnish and former Moloko frontwoman Roisin Murphy, eyecatching in a fuchsia cape over a black tartan-print frock.
