They were completely wrapped up in
each other, laughing and cuddling as
they wandered through the peaceful
gardens of the monastery at Valldemossa,
on the island of Majorca. A year and a half
of marriage, one small child and two busy
careers have not dampened the Michael
Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones romance
and the couple looked like a pair of
teenagers, lost in their love, as they walked
around the grounds, hand in hand.
During the winter of 1838 to 1839 the
composer Frederick Chopin lived at
Valldemossa with his lover George Sand
and thousands of visitors come every year to
tour the monastery, the beautiful hedgerow
gardens and a museum which houses
Chopin's piano.
