What better place for a Sunday stroll than the flower-scented gardens of the Valldemossa monastery, where the composer Frederick Chopin once lived

 

They were completely wrapped up in each other, laughing and cuddling as they wandered through the peaceful gardens of the monastery at Valldemossa, on the island of Majorca. A year and a half of marriage, one small child and two busy careers have not dampened the Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones romance and the couple looked like a pair of teenagers, lost in their love, as they walked around the grounds, hand in hand.

During the winter of 1838 to 1839 the composer Frederick Chopin lived at Valldemossa with his lover George Sand and thousands of visitors come every year to tour the monastery, the beautiful hedgerow gardens and a museum which houses Chopin's piano.
