A Canadian lingerie company has refused to pay model Eva Herzigova for a recent shoot, claiming it didn't like her short haircut – and now the former Wonderbra vixen has filed a lawsuit to collect the $30,000 fee.

Court papers filed in New York claim that La Senza lingerie has not yet paid Eva for a one-day catalogue photo session in January. In a letter submitted as evidence along with the charges, 1 Model Management attorney Kenneth Sussmane advises the firm to come through with the cash, writing: "Ms Herzigova remains a very successful model with this haircut to which you refer."

The Czech beauty's management company is also seeking $598 for hotel bills and a $6,000 commission in addition to the $30,000 fee. Eva had jetted in from Paris to the Big Apple especially for the assignment.

A friend of the model told the New York Post that Eva had her blonde locks shorn for a recent campaign for Louis Vuitton, and as yet she'd had no other complaints about her new look.
