Celine Dion's husband is recovering after having a cancerous tumour removed from his throat just before Christmas, it has been revealed. René Angélil, 72, was previously diagnosed with throat cancer in 1999, when his wife took time off her career as he recovered. A statement released by René's publicist on Friday revealed that the operation took place on 23 December and was a success.   It also stated that Celine's husband and manager had spent a few days in hospital before beginning his recovery at home in Las Vegas. Makes: 6 large pancakes Prep time: 10 minutes Cook time: 1-2 minutes per pancake Ingredients 4tbsp plain flour 200ml Lactofree Semi-Skimmed 100ml Water Vegetable oil 1 large free range egg Salt Method Sieve the flour into a large bowl and then add a pinch of salt.
