Prince William and Duchess Kate arrive in Scotland

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have arrived in Scotland for their first joint public engagement since their royal tour of Australia and New Zealand. The couple's first stop on Thursday morning was the Strathearn Community Campus - which houses a school, community library and indoor and outdoor sporting facilities. They were thought to have left their ten-month-old son George at home with his nanny. While in the country William and Kate are known as the Earl and Countess of Strathearn, and Thursday was the first time they have graced the region since they were given the titles on the occasion of their April 2011

Prince Harry eagerly donned his sports kit to play a game of tag rugby with children on Thursday morning. The athletic royal, 29, travelled to Suffolk where he visited Ipswich-based charity Inspire Suffolk, which aims to educate and motivate young people through sport. The Duchess of Cambridge, née Kate Middleton, was given a very Scottish gift for Prince George as she visited the country on Thursday. William, 31, and Kate, 32, were seen beaming as they accepted the present at MacRosty Park where they were greeted by crowds of adoring locals. Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge, née Kate Middleton, indulged in a tipple as they rounded off their trip to Scotland. The royal couple were visiting The Famous Grouse Distillery on Thursday afternoon when they were offered, and gladly accepted, a dram of whisky.
