She was crowned the queen of style ahead of the Duchess of Cambridge last year, and when Princess Mary of Denmark stepped out at the weekend for her father-in-law Prince Henrik of Denmark's 80th birthday, it was easy to see why. The Australia-born princess was the epitome of elegance as she sashayed her way down the red carpet for a concert to celebrate the milestone birthday with her husband Prince Frederik and their two older children, eight-year-old Prince Christian and Princess Isabella, seven. Charlotte Casiraghi has made few public appearances since the birth of her son Raphäel in December. So royal fans were pleased to see the Monegasque royal as she stepped out on Wednesday in her role as the official face of Gucci Cosmetics. Mum-of-one Charlotte cut a stylish figure in a grey-blue dress by the Italian fashion house as she celebrated the launch of its highly anticipated new make-up line. Prince Charles and Camilla lead D-Day commemorations in Normandy

Prince Charles and his wife Camilla arrived in Normandy on Thursday morning to start their D-Day commemorations. The royal couple, who usually remember the day on home ground, made the special visit across the Channel to mark the 70th anniversary of the historic moment. D-Day is credited as leading to the eventual defeat of Nazi Germany in 1944. Charles donned his Field Marshal's tropical service uniform in his capacity as Colonel-in-Chief of the Army Air Corps.
