The dresses involved the artistic stream that inspire all of her collections: with the clear fingerprints of British photographer Cecil Beaton, who was the official photographer of Vanity Fair and Vogue during the 1920's, the Venezuelan's 2013 collection is influenced by the most romantic works of this artist who designed the costumes for the movie My Fair Lady, without lacking the unique touches of the Carolina Herrera brand.

Polka dots, lace illusion effect, gowns with sleeves like Kate Middleton's wedding dress, or subtle touches of black and champagne colours, live in harmony with vivid decorative details, like maxi buttons, inlayed pears, silk ties, rhinestone straps or lace veils topped in lavender lace.

Our favourite detail: the option of accessorising any of the dresses with a white hair coat, and the tiny bouquets placed on the upper part of some of the gowns that complement the floral effect of the most striking creations, which do not lack ornaments shaped like almonds or a headdress topped with spikes.
