Jessica Raine has married her partner Tom Goodman-Hill just two weeks after they announced their engagement. Mr Selfridge star Tom tweeted to say he "couldn't be happier" as he shared pictures from their low-key London wedding.

Call the Midwife actress Jessica looked elegant in a vintage-style ivory wedding dress with her brunette hair worn up in a braid. She looked thrilled as she clutched her wedding bouquet in one hand and held hands with her new husband, who looked dapper in a blue three-piece suit and red tie.

Tom tweeted: "Couldn't be happier. (Thanks to @antoniakinlay & LaurenRCrace for these lovely pics) X".

The couple were joined by a number of famous faces including Jessica's Partners in Crime co-star David Walliams, and Tom's Mr Selfridge co-star Amanda Abbington with her partner Martin Freeman for the private ceremony on Tuesday.

News of the wedding comes just weeks after it emerged that they were engaged, despite Jessica previously saying she wasn't bothered about getting married.

"I am not massively interested in getting married, to be honest. We live together and that's fine," she said in 2013.

The couple first met in 2010 when they both starred in a theatre production of Earthquakes. Just a few months later Tom ended his marriage before striking up a relationship with his former co-star. They have since been busy working on different TV projects, with Tom recently playing a starring role as Joe Hawkins in Humans, while Jessica most recently appeared in an adaptation of Agatha Christie's Partners in Crime on BBC2.
