Katie Piper shares first wedding dress photo on Instagram

Katie Piper has been keeping mum about her recent wedding. But on Friday the inspirational star couldn't resist sharing a throwback photo of her gorgeous gown, while also revealing that former X Factor contestant Jahmene Douglas played a special part in her big day.

Katie, who married fiancé Richard Sutton on 6 November, gave fans a glimpse of her lace wedding dress in a new Instagram snap.

The gown, designed by Kolchagov Barba, showed off Katie's svelte figure and was a "dream come true" for the blushing bride.

Katie Piper had X Factor's Jahmene Douglas perform at her wedding

Posting the photo of herself and Jahmene, Katie wrote: "TBT to when @jahmeneaarondouglas made our special day complete." It sounds like the soul singer, who finished runner-up in the 2012 series of The X Factor, performed to perfection at Katie and Richard's wedding.

Last week the bride's make-up artist revealed the first photo of Katie in her wedding dress. Taking to Instagram Toby Salvietto, who works with Katie a lot, posted a breath-taking photo of his dear friend and Richard in a sweet embrace.

The groom is seen kissing his new wife's head while 32-year-old Katie sports a wide smile from ear-to-ear. The couple have one daughter together, Belle Elizabeth, whom they welcomed in March 2014.

"Falling in love has given me more confidence in myself and my decisions," said the bride

Becoming a mother and finding her soul mate has helped boost Katie's self-confidence, she admitted.

"Falling in love and getting to know somebody has given me more confidence in myself and my decisions, the same as becoming a mother," the acid attack survivor told Femail earlier this week. "The wedding was the icing on the cake and making everything official. It was a wonderful feeling."

The day after her wedding Katie tweeted: "What an amazing Friday yesterday was – I got married!"
