It's official: Former GMTV presenter Emma Crosby will be replacing Natasha Kaplinsky as the new face of Channel Five news.
The 33-year-old – who left her morning TV post five months ago when GMTV was replaced by Daybreak - will take over the 7pm news slot.
Natasha – who twice took maternity leave from her job - announced in October she would be leaving at the end of 2010.
Emma will make her debut on February 14, alongside regular presenter Matt Barbett.
"I am hugely excited about joining the team," said the pretty journalist, who added: "Matt and I studied at university together so I’m looking forward to the reunion too!"
