As the nation held its breath awaiting news of Wayne Rooney's health on Wednesday, it seems there may be some good news.
The Man Utd and England star, who collapsed after sustaining an injury to his ankle during a game on Tuesday night, has been assessed by medics in Manchester.
And much to the delight of England fans, doctors have revealed the striker may be fighting fit in just a few weeks.
The sportsman, who managed a smile for fans as he left hospital, has been advised to rest, ice and compress his ankle and is expected to be back on top form in a minimum of two weeks.
