Hilary Swank's ex Chad Lowe marries again

Wedding bells chimed for the second time on Saturday for Hilary Swank's ex-husband, Chad Lowe.

The 42-year-old actor married his girlfriend of three years, film producer Kim Painter, in an intimate ceremony at Terranea Resort in Los Angeles.

The wedding was very much a family affair, with the couple's 15-month-old daughter Mabel given the important role of ring-bearer, and Chad's brother and fellow actor Rob acting as best man.

Hilary herself seems in no rush to get remarried. Although she's been dating long-term partner John Campisi since her divorce from Chad in 2006, a recent interview with Style magazine confirmed her desire to wait a little longer before tying the knot.

"You know what they say: When it ain't broke," the 36-year-old told the publication.
