In a revealing interview with TV presenter Piers Morgan, Geri Halliwell has spoken out about her relationship with fellow former Spice Girl, Victoria Beckham.

The mum-of-one, who left the girl band three years before the others called it a day in 2001, likened Victoria to Marmite, saying; "you either love her or hate her".

"I absolutely love her," she went on to say.

"The girl that I know has got absolutely nothing to do with the one I see in the media."

Asked how she felt about being voted Britain's most popular Spice Girl, Geri says she was surprised by the result.

"I never thought I was number one, I actually thought I was always number two," she says.

"To Emma, because I think Emma was much easier to like.

"She doesn’t ever offend anybody and although I think I can communicate well with people and hopefully they identify with me, sometimes I would put my foot in it a little bit more, so that's very flattering to think that I was the most popular."
