Benedict Cumberbatch has signed up to play The Beatles' manager in a biopic about "the fifth Beatle".
Co-produced by Oscar-winning star Tom Hanks and directed by Sherlock TV series maker Paul McGuigan, the film is set to show to British heart throb detailing the manager's hectic lifestyle.
Producers describe the Ryan Epstein project as the story of "the man who threw the biggest party of the 1960s, but ultimately forgot to invite himself."
Brian first spotted The Beatles at Liverpool's Cavern Club, and went on to get the band their first ever record deal.
The wave of success led to a struggle with gambling and substance abuse for the manager, leading him to be found dead at the age of 32.
Dubbed "the fifth Beatle", the star also managed Liverpudlian acts Gerry and The Pacemakers and Cilla Black.
