David Carradine – star of Kill Bill and the Kung Fu TV series – has been found dead in a Bangkok hotel room.
The 72-year-old, who was in the country filming his new flick Stretch, was found sitting in a wardrobe with a rope around his neck by a maid on Thursday morning.
Describing the news as "shocking" the actor's personal manager, Chuck Binder, paid tribute to the American screen star, saying: "He was full of life, always wanting to work… a great person."
The son of Western actor John Carradine and brother of actors Bruce, Robert and Keith, David is survived by his wife of five years Annie Bierman and four children.
