Former Take That star Robbie Williams has penned a last-minute song for his upcoming album in honour of the late pop icon Michael Jackson.
The singer was so touched by the 50-year-old's tragic passing, that he altered his tracklist to include the special song.
"Michael Jackson died. It's all so very sad. I couldn't get a lyric to fit on one of the new songs, so when he passed away I rewrote it with him in mind," he said.
And Robbie's snap decision was so close to the completion of the album that his producers only heard of the new track during a meeting to finalise the disc last week.
"My album is a killer," Robbie says. "(It's) old Robbie, new Robbie and a Robbie that neither of us has met."
