Elton John's A-list friends have been rallying round to visit him in hospital where he is being treated for flu and an E.coli bacterial infection.
The 62-year-old's partner David Furnish was joined by Little Britain star Matt Lucas on Tuesday as he popped into London's King Edward VII clinic.
Elton, whose illness has forced him to cancel a string of UK and US gigs, is "responding to the drugs well", his spokesperson has confirmed.
It was a rare public outing for comedian Matt, who was left devastated by the tragic death of his former partner Kevin McGee last month.
