Paris Hilton's denies 'crazy rumours' over arrest
After being questioned by police over allegations of marijuana possession in South Africa, Paris Hilton told fans: "I was not charged or arrested, cause I didn't do anything.
"I was assisting the police with the investigation and answering their questions".
Writing on Twitter she said: "Hey guys, there's a lot of crazy rumors going around.
"Just want you all to know the truth. Everything is completely fine.
Her lawyer said that the banned substance belonged to a friend in her party, glamour model Jennifer Rovero, who is now faced with a fine.
The 29-year-old socialite is in South Africa attending this year’s World Cup.
