Sylvester Stallone breaks neck during fight scene
Fans may be in awe of him after his numerous Rocky boxing triumphs, but even Hollywood hardman Sylvester Stallone has his limits.
The 63-year-old has revealed he was recently forced to undergo emergency surgery after an accident during a fight scene on set of his latest movie, The Expendables.
Sly suffered a hairline fracture to his neck which meant he was fitted with a metal plate.
The movie, which stars a who's who of action actors including Bruce Willis, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Mickey Rourke, follows a group of mercenaries who head to South America on a misson to overthrow a dictator.
