Big Brother returns to small screen with Channel 5

Wednesday April 6, 2011

After Channel 4 ended its epic stint with Big Brother, it was reported that Channel 5 was keen to take over.

And if reports are to be believed, the channel is poised to announce its acquisition of the reality show and its return to the small screen.

The show will apparently commence with a four-week long celebrity version in August, followed by the traditional 13-week Big Brother in September.

Keeping with the same format, an episode will be aired nightly.

And it seems the programme is set to be as controversial as ever, with troubled actor and recent internet sensation Charlie Sheen on the wishlist.
