The sentencing of US R&B singer Chris Brown has been delayed because the terms of his six-month community service sentence are yet to be clarified.
The singer, who attended an LA hearing with his mother on Wednesday, last month pleaded guilty to assaulting his former girlfriend Rihanna.
Chris is expected to be sentenced to five years probation and six months of community service.
He may also be required to complete a year of domestic violence classes and has been ordered to stay 50 yards away from Rihanna.
"I have told Rihanna countless times, and I am telling you today, that I am truly sorry and that I wasn't able to handle the situation both differently and better," Chris said in a public apology in June.
The sentencing has been rescheduled to August 27.
