Cher Lloyd has stormed to the top of the singles chart with her debut release Swagger Jagger.
The 18-year-old from Malvern, Worcestershire was a finalist in last year's X Factor.
Her single deposed She Makes Me Wanna, by previous X Factor finalists JLS.
"Having a number one was the best thing I could have asked for," said Cher.
The singer spent her childhood honing her musical talent and dreaming of being in the charts.
Meanwhile, in the album charts, Amy Winehouse continues to dominate with Back To Black at number one for a second week.
The song has had its strongest weekly sales since the singer's untimely death last month.
Her debut album Frank also climbed from last week's number five to this week's number three, its best ever showing.
The two albums are separated by Adele's 21 at number two while Adele's debut album 19 stays at number four.
