Fabio Capello resigned as England football manager on Wednesday.
The Italian boss stepped down after publicly criticising the Football Association board over the decision to strip John Terry of his England captaincy.
Fabio has left the team with no manager just months before Euro 2012.
The football manager told press the reason he quit was because the FA "gravely offended me and damaged my authority".
The furore began when the FA made the decision to sack John Terry as England captain.
Fabio then gave an interview with Italian press saying he did not believe someone should be punished by an authority such as the FA before a legal verdict had been reached.
"I thought it was right that Terry should keep the captain's armband".
