Tilda Swinton's new movie Moonrise Kingdom will open this year's Cannes Film Festival.
The film from American director Wes Anderson - which also stars Bruce Willis and Bill Murray - is set in New England in the summer of 1965.
It will be shown at the glitzy event on May 16.
It marks a return to the festival for Tilda who appeared last year supporting her critically-acclaimed role in We Need to Talk About Kevin.
Thierry Fremaux, the Festival's General Delegate, said director Wes was "one of the rising powers of American cinema".
The festival will announce which films will be in the running for the prestigious Palme d'Or next month.
Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie and Johnny Depp were among the celebs who attended the event last year.
