A whole host of stars have shown off coloured tresses recently, with Lauren Conrad, Coco Rocha and Nicola Roberts all tweeting pictures of their new pink-hued hair.

But their colourful efforts have all been outdone by Lady Gaga, who stepped out in Tokyo this morning with a rainbow-hued ponytail.

The quirky popstar channelled My Little Pony with her thigh length mane.

And she later tweeted: “Thank u for the sweet welcome Tokyo! Getting ready to meet Japanese Haus for drinks! I missed them! Your spirit is a rainbow in my hair X”.
