The Glee club has plenty of reason to sing and dance after the popular television-musical picked up 19 Emmy nominations for its first season.
The programme's stars, Matthew Morrison and Lea Michele, received nods for lead actor and actress, while the entire cast was honoured in the best comedy series category along with three-time winner 30 Rock.
"I'm speechless. I'm so proud of my cast and crew! 19 noms is amazing!" Lea wrote on Twitter after the announcements were made Thursday.
Glee's pile of nominations weren't enough to out-do HBO World War II miniseries The Pacific, however.
The Tom Hanks-prodiced show collected 24.
Curiously, the now-cancelled Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien is up for a gong in the variety show category, while Jay Leno's version was snubbed.
