Adele has been honoured for Rolling In The Deep being the most played song of 2011 on US radio.
To date, the track has been broadcast more than two million times, which is the equivalent of playing the tune back-to-back for twelve years.
The songstress was commemorated at the BMI music awards at the Dorchester Hotel in London.
Other honourees included Mark Hollis, the frontman of Talk Talk, for track It's My Life achieving three million airplays since its release.
The Bee Gees were also honoured for their impressive five million plays of track How Can You Mend A Broken Heart.
Dwina Gibb, the late Robin Gibb's widow, collected the award on the group's behalf.
