The American dream continues for Britain's Got Talent star Susan Boyle.
Her debut album I Dreamed A Dream is on course to become the top selling US album of 2009 after it sold a further 527,000 copies in its second week at number one.
In a further testament to her wide reaching fame, even nuns at a French church were thrilled to meet the singer this week.
Susan, who volunteered at her local church in West Lothian, Scotland, before finding fame, met the fans during a promotional trip to Paris.
She has often spoken of her religious views and her album - which is expected to still be number one at Christmas - has two hymns on it.
"On a personal level, church is very important to me; it's the central point of my faith, and I recognise that God gives you gifts that you have to use to the best of your ability," says the 48-year-old in a documentary about her rise to fame.
It will be screened on Sunday night after the X Factor final.
