Daniel Craig and Judi Dench are 2012 film faves

The British public are in double-0 heaven, according to a Favourite British Actors of 2012 poll.

James Bond stars Judi Dench and Daniel Craig shot to the top of the survey rankings, earning first and second place in the male and female polls respectively.

Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham-Carter came next in the poll, in an apt tribute to the five films they have spent in one another's company.

The Dark Knight Rises' superheroes will not be forgotten anytime soon either, with Christian Bale garnering 7% of the vote in fourth place, whilst feisty catwoman Anne Hathaway came fifth with 5.7% of the vote.
