Lily Allen's dream of a peaceful life in the Cotswolds may not be all it's cracked up to be.
The singer's move from her north London home into her new £1.3 million pad in the countryside has caused uproar among her new neighbours.
Residents in the area, who have seen A-listers such as Kate Moss and Jade Jagger buying second homes in their neighbourhood, believe celebrities are having a bad effect on the community.
They say having stars living in the area has pushed up house prices, making it impossible for them to afford properties.
"There's concern about the lack of opportunity for local people to buy close to their families," local councillor Paul Hodgkinson says.
"Lily Allen will be more than welcome but something needs to be done to help the people of the Cotswolds."
