David Cameron's wife Samantha is set to make her TV debut this weekend - speaking candidly about her rock-solid marriage and her Tory leader husband’s election bid.
Proudly acknowledging her 14-year marriage to David in an ITV1 special to be aired on Sunday, the glamorous businesswoman tells Sir Trevor McDonald: "I can honestly say I don't think in all that time he has ever let me down".
Her comments will air during an interview with potential future PM David - who was quick to praise his wife when he appeared on The Alan Titchmarsh Show this week.
"She is an amazing woman," he admitted. "She is a working mum. She is a very successful career woman..."
And, acknowledging the role she will play in the upcoming election, he revealed: "She said to me, ‘I want you to win. Tell me what I can do to help. I want to get out there’. You are going to see a lot more of her on the campaign trail, so Britain get ready".
