Daniel Craig signs up for two more Bond films

Actor Daniel Craig has signed up for two more Bond films, it has been confirmed.

First appearing as 007 in 2005, the actor has starred as the enigmatic agent in Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace.

The latest film in the secret agent series, Skyfall, is due to be released later on this year.

Once Daniel has completed these films, he will be the third longest serving Bond in the film franchise's history.

Roger Moore ranks as the longest serving 007 after acting in seven films, whereas Sean Connery comes in at a close second with six films under his belt.

Created by Ian Fleming, the novels-turned-film-sensations are celebrating their fiftieth anniversary this year.

The first Bond film, Doctor No, was premiered on October 5, 1962.
