Jungle fever's come around once again in the world of showbiz as this year's I'm a Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! starts on Sunday.

And with the line-up now fully confirmed, there are a few surprising contestants.

BAFTA-nominated actor Nigel Havers will be swapping his gentlemanly ways for the rough life in the Australian outback.

Speaking to ITV of his decision, the 59-year-old said: "Nobody like me has ever done the show before and it strangely appealed to me."

I have just finished doing Coronation Street, which I loved and now I am doing this. I thought I would do a year of surprising people before I go back to doing straight theatre."

Another star who usually prefers the finer things in life is former Bond girl Britt Ekland.

The 68-year-old actress said: "I like extreme comfort. I have never taken the children camping before… and so I am really dreading not sleeping in my fluffy gorgeous plump four poster bed. I will miss that a lot."
