Injury may cause John Terry to miss out on World Cup

The England team could've done with a piece of good news following David Beckham's recent ankle injury.

But there's more bad luck on the horizon for the team, just weeks before the World Cup tournament commences in South Africa.

Chelsea captain John Terry, whose team was celebrating their Premier League win at the weekend, has been admitted to hospital with a foot injury.

John's injury, which happened during a training session in Cobham on Wednesday, comes just one day after England manager Fabio Capello named the footballer in his 30-man provisional squad.

Although there is a fear that John has suffered a broken bone, a scan result is due to shed more light on the condition on Thursday.
