Zara Phillips has confirmed that she will wear a dress by one of her grandmother the Queen’s favourite couturiers on her wedding day.
The 30-year-old has enlisted the help of Stewart Parvin for her marriage to Mike Tindall later this month at Canongate Kirk in Edinburgh.
A fashion source said of this decision: “The Queen and Zara’s mum, Princess Anne, adore Stewart’s clothes.
“They wear his ensembles for Ascot and the Queen wore a white Stewart Parvin dress for Barack Obama’s state visit.
“Zara doesn’t want a high-fashion dress similar to Kate Middleton’s Sarah Burton design.
“But Stewart is the youngest royal couturier, so the dress will still be modern and chic.”
