A judge in a Los Angeles court has confirmed that Joe Jackson will not inherit any of Michael's earnings.
"Joe Jackson takes none of this estate. This is a decision his son made," the judge said.
The late king of pop left his assets to mother Katherine, his children and numerous youth charities.
But father Joe has scheduled a hearing for December 10 when he will appeal for a family allowance. According to court documents he wants help covering expenses that exceed $15,000 a month.
The news comes from same court files that revealed the whopping $855,730 cost of Michael's memorial service in September.
