Those who thought X Factor twins John and Edward's time in the spotlight was up look to have been mistaken.

The singers - who caused controversy during their stint on the talent show - are making a move back to the music scene with a little help from Vanilla Ice rapper Robert Matthew Van Winkle.

The 18-year-olds will be recording a new version of his hit Ice Ice Baby, which they performed during the live finals of the X Factor.

Forty-two-year-old Robert is apparently hoping the pair will reignite his career.

"Ice couldn't wait to work with the boys after seeing their performance," a source tells the Sun. 

"He thought it was genius and now sees the chance to bring his record to a much younger audience.

"The boys even look like he did back in the early days."
