It's emerged that Charlie Sheen was not present at the birthday party of his twin sons Bob and Max.

The boys - who turned two on Monday - celebrated the occasion with a party held by mother Brooke Mueller on Sunday.

A source told People magazine: "The party is a casual and child friendly celebration. It's all about Max and Bob and their friends. They seem to be having a great time, and so is Brooke."

Troubled actor Charlie was never expected to attend.

The 45-year-old has also filed a law suit against Warner Bros and Two And A Half Men producer Chuck Lorre for $100 million.

Charlie's lawyers are accusing the studio of firing the star because he made critical statements about the producer in the media.
