Prince Philip becomes longest serving royal spouse
The Queen's husband will take the title of Britain's longest serving consort this Saturday, surpassing the record of 57 years and 70 days, set by King George III's wife Charlotte of Mecklenburg. His duties began on Feb 6, 1952, when George VI, the current monarch's father passed away
