Carla Bruni-Sarkozy and her husband President Nicolas Sarkozy have reportedly viewed an exclusive duplex in a Paris apartment block where her former flame Mick Jagger has two homes.
France's first couple looked over a £9 million Rue de Babylone pad once owned by the late Yves Saint Laurent on a house-hunting visit last week, reports The Times.
It's believed they want to move from the secluded town house the model-turned-singer currently rents in the Villa Montmorency.
Neighbours in the ultra-expensive private street in the grand 16th arrondissement have complained about the heavy security presence.
YSL's former home is more convenient as it is just a stone's throw away from the Elsyee Palace, the official presidential residence.
It also has sentimental significance, as Carla was a close friend of the fashion maestro, who passed away last year.
