The Duchess of Cambridge, Patron of SportsAid, will attend the SportsBall, the charity's annual gala dinner, at Supernova in Embankment Gardens, London.
Kate will present the One-to-Watch Award, which honours a young British sportsman or woman who has demonstrated extraordinary commitment to their sport and career.
This year's SportsBall will primarily focus on the 2014 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games in Sochi but will also look further ahead to Rio in 2016.
SportsAid helps young sportsmen and women to achieve their ambitions by giving them financial aid to kickstart their careers.
Squash superstar Peter Nicol MBE said: "What SportsAid does is wonderful for the youth of this country and gives them the support to go out and achieve anything they want. It is always extraordinary to see how many successful professionals have had support from SportsAid in their careers."
