Sir Terry Wogan calls to congratulate Chris Evans
Chris Evans made it very clear that he was nervous about filling the shoes of veteran presenter Sir Terry Wogan when he took over his breakfast radio show.
It seems the flame-haired funnyman needn't have worried, though.
Seventy-one-year-old Terry phoned Chris from his holiday home in France this week, to tell him he was a huge success.
"You were great. You have nothing to worry about whatsoever," the Irishman said.
Chris started his new breakfast show on Monday after Terry - who held the post for 27 years - resigned.
