Cast of US version of 'The Office' marks 100th episode

There was celebration among the co-workers of the American spin-off of the series this week as they marked the completion of their landmark 100th episode.

All dressed in t-shirts emblazoned with the logo of Scranton, Pennsylvania,- where the US version of Ricky Gervais' British comedy is set - the cast, including Angela Kinsey, BJ Novak and Jenna Fischer, gathered round a huge cake propped up by boxes of printing paper.

Now in its fifth season The Office has won a slew of awards, including an outstanding comedy series Emmy and Writers Guild and SAG trophies.
