Bidding has opened for ten designer dresses inspired by Disney's iconic princesses.
Auction house Christie's is now accepting bids for the items ahead of the live auction which will be held 13 November to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity.
Auctioneers predict that the golden Cinderella dress by Versace, the magical Snow White dress by Oscar de la Renta and the yellow Belle dress by Valentino will be the most popular lots.
Each dress has been designed to be an individual interpretation of a Disney Princess, paying tribute to the stories of Ariel, Aurora (Sleeping Beauty), Belle, Cinderella, Jasmine, Mulan, Pocahontas, Rapunzel, Snow White and Tiana and was created as part of an exclusive and unique collaboration between Disney and Harrods.
The 10 unique handcrafted dresses will appear in a winter wonderland setting specially created by department store Harrods, for the public to view from 9 November.
