After failing to show up for a hearing in Santa Barbara, Golden-Globe-winner Randy Quaid and his wife Evi face another arrest warrant.
The couple were scheduled to attend the hearing in California following allegations that they were squatting in the guest house of a Montecito home they once owned.
Arrest warrants of $50,000 have been issued for Evi and the actor, known for his roles in films such as Independence Day and Brokeback Mountain.
They have had previous brushes with the law when in 2009 they were arrested in Texas for defrauding an innkeeper, and routinely missed court dates.
The pair are free to turn themselves in before their case is called again on October 26.
