Journalist, writer and TV presenter Dawn Porter has raised £500 after auctioning a dress for charity.
The star donned the gown in question for The Stand Up To Cancer Charity Ball on Thursday night and funds from the sale will go to the same organisation.
Dawn told HELLO! : "I found the dress in a vintage shop in Toronto last month and I just totally fell in love with it."
The chic 20s-style shift dress caused a riot on Twitter, with many fans scrambling to donate to the cause.
Lucky bidder Stephen Hollis secured the deal. "Woo hoo - my wife will be over the moon!" he tweeted.
Inspirational Dawn tragically lost her mum to breast cancer at the age of seven, and has been a fervent supporter of the cause which is so close to her heart.
Stand Up To Cancer, a Channel 4 and Cancer Research amalgamation, has accrued celebrity support from Davina McCall, Alan Carr and Embarrassing Bodies' Dr Christian Jessen.
The live broadcast of the ball airs on Friday night.
