Rapper Drake earns high school diploma

Rapper Drake has revealed that he is thrilled to have finally earned a high school diploma.

The 25-year-old left school a year early to film TV series Degrassi: The Next Generation, but has taken some time out of music to finally finish his secondary school qualifications. 

Drake tweeted: "I got my high school diploma!"

Also revealing that he passed the exam with 97% with help from a private tutor, the star discussed his news at New York's Capitale at Tyra Banks' Flawsome Ball.

The event raises funds for the Tyra Banks TZONE Foundation, which is aimed at developing confidence in girls.
