Tony Parker 'knew Eva would file for divorce'
Speaking for the first time since news emerged of his split from Eva Longoria, Tony Parker has revealed that the divorce came as no surprise.
In a statement the basketball player said: "Eva and I have been discussing our situation privately."
"I was aware that she would be filing for divorce in Los Angeles."
The 28-year-old also told US publication, People: "I did not file for divorce in Texas and did not hire divorce attorneys in either Texas or California."
He added: "We plan to continue to keep our discussions of this matter private."
The couple were married in 2007 but 35-year-old Eva filed for divorce on Wednesday following reports that Tony was unfaithful with a fellow basketball player's estranged wife.
