Madonna takes tumble from horse while riding in US

Madonna has been left with "minor injuries" and bruising after falling from a startled horse on Long Island on Saturday.  
 
The 50-year-old queen of pop was visiting friends in the Hamptons when the incident occurred. Her publicist said Madonna fell after her horse was "startled by paparazzi who jumped out of the bushes" to photograph the singer. She was treated at a local hospital and later released.  
 
Local news reported the mum of three was wearing a helmet at the time of her fall. It's not the first time the mum-of-three has taken a tumble from a horse. In 2005 she suffered three cracked ribs, a broken collar bone and broke a bone in her hand in a riding accident
